| The seven day expedition included visits to the famous sights of Istanbul, a tour of the Black Sea region, a night in a magnificent lakeside hotel set amid the mountains and two nights in the ancient town of Safranbolu, and of course viewing the Eclipse on August 11 from the ramparts of the Byzantine Castle in Kastamonu |  Walking around the Lake |
