Aegean Adventure Travel Turkey - Solar Eclipse site for the 1999 tour diary and the 2006 event

This website was for those lucky few who wanted to view the last Total Solar Eclipse of the Millennium from probably the best vantage point on the planet
Viewing was from the ramparts of a Byzantine Castle in the ancient Anatolian City of Kastamonu in Turkey, which was directly on the center of the path of totality

The sky was clear in Kastamonu on, August 11 1999,
and the View of the Eclipse was Excellent

The next Total Solar Eclipse in Turkey is on March 29 2006
